It has been nearly forty years since 12 year old Ray "Bones" Rodriguez showed up at Powell und Stacy Peralta with a box of matches on which was depicted the sketch of a hypothetical graphic for a skate board. Despite some initial skepticism, the two showed this drawing to their cousin VC Johnson, who came up with one of the most famous skate graphics of all time. Today we find it printed on a board with a Gee Gah shape. This Powell Peralta classic is made with seven layers of maple wood and has a shaped shape, which is very different from the usual shape of modern skate boards. The two "bulges" at the tail give the Skull & Sword board greater stability, a very important detail in the 80s, when it was fashionable to skate on ramps and the boards used to break at the tail.
